Renovating in the Netherlands as an expat
MijnVerbouwPlanner was built in the Netherlands, and that pays off if that's where you're renovating: the app understands quotes, VAT and the formal handover the way Dutch contractors handle them. The paperwork can stay in Dutch. You upload quotes and invoices exactly as you get them, while your own overview stays in English. These are the Dutch words you'll run into most:

Is the app really available in English?
Yes, the whole planner works in English, from your tasks and timeline down to the receipts. You can switch between English and Dutch at any time via the globe icon in the app.
How much does it cost?
It's free for renovations with a budget up to €35,000, for up to 3 projects. No credit card needed. Above that, the Verbouwer plan is €9.95 per month.
Can my Dutch contractor use it too?
Yes. You can invite your contractor to the project; they get their own lane in the timeline and can use the app in Dutch while you use it in English.
Is it only for homes in the Netherlands?
No. A renovation is a renovation: tasks, a timeline, quotes and a budget work the same way anywhere. Amounts are in euros and VAT is split out the Dutch way (21%), which you'll mainly notice on receipts. If you happen to be renovating in the Netherlands, the app fits like a glove.
